Friends

Me and B have been blessed beyond measure with a lot of great friends in our lives. The latest ones to shake up our world is our church friends. When we bought our house, we made a goal to find a church before J was born. That didn't happen and we continued our search. We finally found our church after a year of searching and the second we walked into the service, things just clicked. The service was just what we needed to hear, they had a strong youth program and there were tons of families our age that attended. Not to mention, we felt at home. 

We then found a Sunday school group and loved our decision even more. It was a group that was our age and in the same place as us. They had kids, a mortgage and a job with a benefits plan. I know, we had high standards. Either way, they've been such a breath of fresh air.

Tonight we spent an evening on the lake with them and had fantastic time. But I'm pretty sure they think we pawn off our kid on someone else. Everytime we get together J happens to be at grandma's house.

Oh well. They accept us for the child abandoners we are and we thank them for that.
